Review: My experience with Randy during the first year of my new home warranty was initially positive. However, there were specific issues he committed to fixing that were never addressed. It's been three years now, and despite having documented proof of his promises through messages, he has become unresponsive to my attempts to contact him.What's frustrating is that these repair requests were all made within the first year of the warranty, and once that period ended, his willingness to engage disappeared. For those considering the purchase of one of Randy's homes, I'd advise exploring other options or establishing a written agreement to ensure a timely response to repair inquiries. It seems I'm not alone in facing this challenge, as several of my neighbors have shared similar experiences.While the overall quality of the house is satisfactory, it's disappointing that certain agreed-upon repairs remain unresolved. The lack of communication is perplexing, especially given that he's a daily presence in the neighborhood. I'm sharing this feedback to ensure others are well-informed before making their decision.

Review: Randy James was easy to work with. He readily presented options, and always cautioned me when my champagne taste could potentially blow my budget. He listened to what was important to me. I bought a house that he had already started, and he was willing to change out the brick already delivered if I chose to do so, and he even changed out the size of the windows to accommodate my custom drapes. He does not overstate the prices, rather gives you a range and you make the decisions. He never underdelivers. He always helped me weigh the dollar for the end result and advised other areas of the budget I could cut if need be. He was able to finish out a bonus room over the garage and when I wanted to add a bathroom, he was able to easily and cost effectively do so by eliminating a closet that was not needed. He has excellent sub-contractors who I found throughout the process loved working for him. They told me he was the best contractor and treated them all extremely well. Randy has also handled a kitchen remodel for my son's home, and that job went seamlessly. He has excellent resources and quality people to refer you to across the board.
